VÍDEO 1) NEGATIVE ACTION (A performing trip from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, to Wall Street and Chinatown, New York) Acción realizada en 2014

UU.

English version

We performed from Philadelphia University to Wall Street, (just 95,9 miles by bus). The Wharton School, located in Philly, is one of the top universities in the world for financial and business studies, and most students develop their careers in Wall Street (New York) or wherever money circulates.
The performance consisted in delivering one dollar bill, printed on paper in B&W negative, to all the people we met in both locations, university and around the stock market. We became a sort of ‘Advertising Delivery Service’ spreading out a lot of negative printed bills (the dark side of money).
The end of the video was recorded in Chinatown.
This piece works together with POSITIVE-NEGATIVE video.
POSITIVE-NEGATIVE
In front of the camera, I am eating the negative print of a lot of one dollar bill. The artist, me, is in negative in the video, but the money is in positive. One can say we are in different worlds. It is that true?
